Comet NEOEWISE - Wall Print - Melody Sky
The story behind the print
Watching Comet C/2020 F3, otherwise known as NEOWISE (Near-Earth Object Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer’ space telescope), over Lac des Vaux in Verbier was an incredible experience. Melody camped by the lake at 2543m and spent the night running timelapses and photographing this once in a lifetime experience. Comets, or ‘dirty snowballs’ are made of dust, rocks and ice left over from when the solar system was formed over 4.6 billion years ago. Neowise won’t grace our skies for another 6800 years, so it was worth staying up to experience as Melody will never have the opportunity to capture this image again!
This is a perfect print to hang in your bedroom to lull you to sleep and instantly evoke a feeling of relaxation and calmness. You will feel almost as if you were right there gazing at the Alpine peaks at sun set far away from all the hustle and bustle.
